As a grassroots, community-owned business with a social mission, the Rogers Park Food Co-op is governed by a unique set of values and principles. It is important to know that it is the Board´s legal responsibility to represent the Owners and set strategic policy accordingly.
There are many ways in which to be involved with the RPFC through serving on committees or special assignment. Serving on the Board is a unique combination of not only time and commitment, but passion. We are passionate about co-operating and working together for a healthy and more vibrant community.
Please visit our website at http://www.rogersparkfoodcoop.com/run_for_board for a complete Board Candidate information packet and application. The deadline for Board Candidate applications is January 22nd.
